The Birth of Amplify Ministries

Since 2013 we have had the privilege of coming alongside and investing in hundreds of teens throughout Genesee County. We have encountered kids struggling from abuse, neglect, substance abuse, poverty, and hardships. We realize gathering only for an hour and a half once a week during the school year is not enough to make a lasting impact. With the creation of Amplify Ministries, we will be able to provide a safe, consistent, and stable environment to support teens in growing spiritually, healing emotionally, and thriving educationally.

Our Vision

To help teens realize their value and worth in Jesus. To meet them in the stages they are in and help them grow and develop into mature adults who are seeking and devoted to being all God has created and called them to be.

Basic Needs

Everyone needs healthy food, sleep, and a stable environment. For many teens, this is not a reality. Because these teens do not have their basic needs met it is hard to move forward in any other part of their lives.

Trust

Who will care for me? Kids and teens need consistency in their lives. They need people they can count on to be there even when life gets hard.

Nurture

Who will comfort me? Many teens we work with need a safe place to talk through issues and questions in life. They need to know that someone will listen to them and comfort them when they need it.

Time

Who will spend time with me? Every teen needs someone investing in them consistently. They need a secure relationship where they feel loved and cared for and are taught life skills in a side-by-side manner.

Empowerment

Who believes in me? Can I take risks? Teens need a place where people see their potential and allow them to take risks and make mistakes. When they feel supported, they begin to step out, try new things, and grow.

Discipline

Teaching life skills, holding teens accountable for their actions, and being able to guide teens as they walk through life is the ultimate goal. Real growth happens here, but first we must take the time to build that kind of relationship

The Plan

Phase 1 - Done

The offer for the farm has been signed. $25,000 is needed by March 6, 2023, for earnest money to hold the farm. Online giving is now available. (READ MORE)

Phase 2 - Done

Purchase The Farm - Currently the Martello's have raised $1,000,000 in capital. They are currently looking for another $100,000 loan to complete the purchase. (READ MORE)

Phase 3 - In Progress

Renovate Building One: Insulate, heat, and furnish the main barn to be able to start hosting teens at the property. (READ MORE)

Phase 4

Bring in the kids! This is where we can begin to bring kids in on a regular basis. (READ MORE)

This is the dreaming phase. As you know, man makes plans, but God guides our steps. (READ MORE)
